Annual Summer Camp

I run an Arts and Crafts summer camp in my local Parish each year.

There are two workshops each day, one for children in Junior Infants to 2nd class, and another for children in 3rd class to 1st year Secondary school. The students get a chance to explore their creativity, push their imagination and have fun with a range of materials.

 

Junior Infants – 2nd class students                                                                       10:00- 13:00
- Get creative with paper mache, clay, wool, paint and many more materials
-  Have fun with cake decoration and ice cream making
-  Experiment with colours and shapes and learn the skills of the world’s most famous artists!
-  Make art supplies , cards and gifts for all occasions

 

Lino Printing

3rd class- 1st year Students        14:00-17:00

- Discover where your inner artist’s strength lies: Are you a sculptor?

   A painter? A fashion or interior designer? A photographer..?
- Develop and improve your drawing and painting abilities
- Learn to make and use a range of art and everyday materials in ways you never thought of before
- Get creative with cake design and decoration

 

The camps take place in the Month of July in Kilmacow Community Centre, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny.
